We've teamed up with the Head for the Cure Foundation to promote their charity bike ride, to be held on Saturday, April 21.
For the last 15 years, the Head for the Cure Foundation has been working to defeat brain cancer step by step, through our 5k Run/Walks, including their signature HFTC Metro Kansas City 5k every August.
Head for the Cure has now extended its fundraising efforts to the bicycling community with its second Head for the Cure Bike Ride, hosted by our friends at historic Browne’s Irish Market in mid-town Kansas City. $1 of every rider registration benefits the advocacy and education programs of BikeWalkKC.
Join us for a great Saturday morning, cycling through Urban Kansas City, followed by an Irish party at Browne's Irish Marketplace with Boulevard Beer, live music, and terrific Irish food.
Not a cyclist? That's ok! Join us for the After Party for live music and great food and drink! Entrance for the After Party and not the ride is $10 at the door starting at 11:30am.
We are featuring 15-mile and 40-mile routes that will both start and finish at Browne's Irish Marketplace with stops at Restless Spirits Distilling and Brewery Emperial. The 40-mile route will have an added stop at Charlie Hooper's Bar & Grille.
